A book in hand production based on a play by Claire Zaslove as originally produced and directed by Arne Zaslove.
This play examines what might have happened if President Harry Truman had met Albert Einstein, before Truman made the decision to drop the atomic bomb on Japan. Was nuclear fire truly the only way to end a global war and save millions of lives? By unleashing the atomic genie on Hiroshima and Nagasaki did the United States set the world on a course that may still end in nuclear destruction for us all? Did either side understand the stakes as they stood on the precipice of the atomic age?
